One Flower Wednesday

I am a bit late this week..(again) for my One Flower Wednesday sign in...But here I am, and as they say "Better late than never" !

We are being treated to some lovely sunny mornings here in Melbourne which is a nice change from the wet cold ones we have had in recent weeks...

This week I have added 4 new flowers to my garden...I wanted to share with you my beautiful "Teddy Rocking Horse". This was a special gift to me from a special friend who found it on his travels and knew just how much I would treasure it..It is absolutely beautiful.It is also a musical box that plays "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". (Have you heard Eva Cassidy's version of this song? I Love it!)...Many thanks to David and Pat for this special gift.xx

Look what came in the mail...... WOW !

I was so thrilled and excited.

I was so surprised to learn that I had won this fantastic "giveaway" from the lovely Melody, whose link is in my side bar on the right. "The House on the Side of the Hill"..Melody does some beautiful work ..so please pop along and say "Hi" to her if you have not already done so.

There are so many lovely patterns in this book by Kindred Spirits and Melody had taken so much trouble to wrap every thing up in some really beautiful fabric..and tied it with pretty matching ribbon.Thank you so much Melody...This is the first time that I have ever won anything and it brought me so much pleasure...

I am a bit pressed for time this week but want to get along and visit all your gardens...I t may take me a few days, so until we meet again
