Goodbye Winter - Hello Spring
Greetings from Melbourne on our second day of Spring...I did want to post yesterday but didn't quite make it.,,,instead , had a lovely day with a very special friend..and yes, it did include some stitching so it was a lovely day..
I have chosen to give my teddies a holiday, and to show my 4 new flowers this week with our very first orchid of the season, a sure sign that spring is in the air....and it is very welcome. This winter has been the coldest we have known for many years, and after very serious droughts we have had some really good rainfall, which is resulting in our water restrictions being lifted a level. I pray that water is now available for all the farmers who desperately needed it! Hope all my fellow gardeners have had a good week with their flowers..I will be round shortly to say "Hi"...
I did have a lovely surprise yesterday when a friend of my Lil Sis from England sent me some new "Seeds" for my garden to grow into beautiful flowers...
Thank you so much Gez...these are very much appreciated. Now I can say my Aussie Garden also contains an English Country Garden.!
Until next time
Take Care
