Greetings everyone to another One Flower Wednesday.it is so nice to catch up with you again.
Oh My! ....The weeks are sure flying by. I have not checked the calendar but someone mentioned yesterday, that it is 11 weeks to the time that "the man in the red suit" comes to visit,,,,ouch ! How many of my stitching friends make resolutions at the New Year that they will begin preparations for Christmas early this year? ...My hand is up...and NO, I have not achieved much at all. :(
Further to my last post...My team lost in the Grand Final...It was a sad house last weekend....but like all St Kilda supporters we will look forward to the new challenge next year..Go Saints...although it is very hard for me to say...Well done Collingwood...
Last Sunday we went on to Daylight Saving so our clocks went forward and we now have the longer days to look forward to. I love them, but I know that parents of young children sometimes find this a difficult time to get their little ones to bed,,,,ahhh...memories...!!!
This week we have had some really nice sunny days, so with my audio book and my
sewing I have enjoyed a few hours on the verandah...ahhh,,bliss...The results of my flowers this week are = 7 new flowers for my garden.
I popped my flowers into our newly blossoming climbing rose...the perfume from this as I was taking the photo w
as beautiful.
I wanted to share this flower with you and hope that by zooming in you will be able to see it properly. It wasn't until i was stitching it that I realised that the fabric in the centre was actually made up of tiny hexagons,,,on first glance this is definitely an optical illusion.
I do hope that wherever you are you are all well ..
Until we meet again
Take care
Happy stitching
