I am running a bit late this week for One Flower Wednesday..No excuses, other than not enough hours in a day...so, I have only ONE flower to show for this week...and she is a bit lonely...!!! Although I have not actually been sewing this week,,I have prepared many flowers ready for piecing and also 120 x 1 inch hexies for my Charm Piece - Along Quilt...
Do you like my new plant? This beautiful Cyclamen was given to me yesterday from friends as a gift for my special day that I have coming up at the weekend.
On this subject...do you remember that in an earlier post I told you that I was waiting for a special parcel to come from America?..Well it has arrived just in time for my Day...a wonderful gift from my DH John..I am so spoilt. Here it is.....
I have just installed it ,but have not used it yet,,,Wow..! so much to learn...but I am sure that will have lots of fun ..While I do not have much to share with you today I thought it would be a good time to introduce the first of some of "My Places of Interest"..
Today it is a beautiful harbour village in Devon UK CLOVELLY
This link will tell you all about it...and it also has some magnificent photos...
I found this village to be really fascinating. It is so steep and narrow that there is no access for vehicles...When we were there we thoroughly enjoyed the walk down from the top..but to walk back up..no way..They have a 4 x 4 service to return you to the top of the village so we took advantage of that,,,Whew!!!!!
Hope that you have all had a good week and look forward to catching up with you again soon
Until Next Time
Take Care x
