Hello Again ! Here we are with another One Flower Wednesday..Oh My ! how time does fly when you are having fun. I can hardly believe a week has gone by.
This week I managed to do 6 flowers for my garden...and also attempted other projects. During this past week I visited many of your Flower Gardens..and I am slowly meeting lots of new blogging friends.Thank you all for visiting me and leaving your lovely comments.
To show you my flowers this week I would like to introduce you to Henrietta...who was given to me by my dear friend Maria..who brought her back with her from a holiday in Tasmania...Henrietta is apart of "The Boyd's Best Dressed Series", is fully jointed and hand
stitched...she is gorgeous..
A Special LadyThis week, while I was reading some of my blogs..I had the privilege to discover a very special lady named Ruth Nott.
Ruth is a fellow member of
It was on one of the posts that I first became aware of this lady's talent as a poet and writer. The piece that I read that morning, so impressed me ,that I wrote to Ruth to ask her permission for me to share it with you on my blog...This special lady very graciously agreed, and with a big thank you to her I share this with you.
Those Quiet Times
May you always have a needle
And a full supply of thread
So your hands will not be idle
And your spirit will be fed.
For in those quiet times,
With a quilt upon your lap,
You find the time to talk to God
As you piece those little scraps;
And you find the time to listen
To what he has to say
When he tries to lift your heavy heart
And soothe your cares away.
And in those quiet times
When communion is so sweet
You can use the edges of your quilt
To warm the Master's feet
As he guides each little stitch
In the quilt of your life's plan
To make the perfect tapestry
Designed by his own hand.

I described earlier that I have loved and attempted many crafts.Because my EPP is very slow going..along the way I will try and show you a few of the things that I have done.
Following my post dedicated to Ruth I thought it was appropriate to include another writer.William Shakespeare. This picture shows a cross stitch that I did of William Shakespeare's Birthplace. This link will give you more information if you wish to read it.I am not a photographer and apologise for glass reflection.

Still on the subject of writers...
Look what came in the post today....These are the latest two books in my Linda Page Collection.I discovered the website The Book Depository who offered FREE WORLDWIDE DELIVERY , so I decided to give them a chance. This is my first order and I am more than happy...As a book lover ,I see I may have to show some restraint in that department....
You may be wondering why I like Lynda Page's book so much..Its very much nostalgia for me,as all her books are based around the town that I was born and raised in.
Hope you all have had a good week
Until Next Time.......Kate
Well done my darling lots of Lovexxxxx John.
