Flowers and more

Every Wednesday, I try to be part of the "One Flower Garden Party", which is kindly hosted by the lovely Karen at Journey of A Quilter.
Unfortunately, last week I was not able to make it... but I did think about you all.

Before I add more to my blog today...I would like to express my sadness at the devastating
Eathquake that occured yesterday in Christchurch New Zealand...
We have blogging friends from New Zealand right here amongst us in the "Garden Party"...My heart goes out to you all and hope that you are all safe....Keeping you in our thoughts and Prayers....
My flowers this week -

I have been able to make 3 flowers for my garden... They are displayed here with my latest addition to my Teddy family...She is a new one that I adopted from the Op Shop...
A Settler Bear named GABBY....she is so cute...

Op Shop Find
DH,,,,who is unable to understand my need for yet another Teddy to add to my collection or perhaps ,,,just one more book to add to bookcases that we have no space left in.....actually found himself a treasure the other day and is proudly showing "his new baby" to everyone. This Photo really does not do it justice...it sure is lovely .
It was a bargain and has been well looked after....

This is my first month in the Inchy Hexagon Flower Swap and I was thrilled to get my first flower and a lovely card from Marina at Maisie and the Boys
Thank you again Marina...My flower was beautiful.

Now I can show you the difference in the sizing of my 2 Flower projects...
My Flower Garden is made in 3/4 inch hexies, shown here ---->

alongside her big friend from the 1 inch Hexie Flower Swap.

While stitching i have started to listen to a new Audio book
The Rouseabout by Rachael Treasure.
The postman has delivered my new books from The Book Depository....(I just love that site....)
Yes ...i really needed them....!!!
So looking forward to having a good look at what can be done with Jelly Rolls.
Until next time...Wherever you are keep safe, well and happy..

  9. We have a lot in common. I don't think you can ever have too many teddy bears or books. And I'm starting to cultivate smaller flowers in my garden. I hope to post my first bouquet in just a few minutes. I love your fabrics!
