Greetings once again on this One Flower Wednesday...Pleased to say it now feels as though summer is on its way... Yesterday, here in Melbourne,we reached 29C ,which is quite warm when you have to work...Today being a bit cooler and slightly overcast as we head to 25C.
This week I managed to complete 3 more flowers for my garden...I was able to get some of my favorite pink. The Yellow fabric was a gift from my dear friend in Perth...( Thanks Julie xx ) who i am looking forward to seeing in a couple of weeks when she comes over for a visit..Not much work will get done then...!!! but the tongues will be in overdrive. lol I have been a little busy as I have been working on my QAYG quilt....I went to the second part of the workshop last weekend where we learnt how to do the trams with the Clover Bias Tape Maker...
I hope to have some photos for you soon...I am at the stage where I have to machine quilt the blocks...but need to practice a little before I wreck the fabric...
I thought you may like to see our Rhododendron that is hiding behind my 3 flowers for this week.We have a beautiful Rhododendron Garden right here in Olinda in the heart of the Dandenong Ranges,,,Is is truly magnificent at this time of the year..We also have a beautiful red one that is just in bud....maybe next week the flowers will be out.
Through other Bloggers i have learnt that Linda at Lavendar Ridge is having a Giveaway of a Go Cutter,,,Today is the last day so hurry along to visit, CLICK HERE ..Oh how i would love one of these..fingers crossed,
Sorry. There was no special Op Shop finds this week...better luck next week...
I hope that you have all had a good week and that where ever you are, you are all well and happy.
Take care
Happy Stitching
